How it works

1. The customer's AI agent connects to your store's MCP address (its AI connection link) with an access token you create.
2. It searches your products, reads details and variations, and checks stock and shipping countries.
3. Make sure you switch ordering on (WooCommerce > Agent Shop > Settings > Agent ordering); the system will create a normal WooCommerce order and give the shopper your store's payment link.
4. The shopper pays on your checkout with your usual payment methods. You ship it like any other order. The order shows "ai-agent" as its origin.

Install in two minutes

1. Plugins > Add New > Upload the zip from your receipt email > Activate.
2. WooCommerce > Agent Shop > Create token. Start with "Browse only".
3. Paste your licence key to turn on automatic updates.
4. Connect AI assistants to your shop: in WooCommerce > Agent Shop, copy your store's AI connection link (shown under "Your MCP address"; MCP is the standard way AI assistants connect to other tools) and your access token. Paste them where an AI assistant asks for a "custom connector", for example in Claude's or ChatGPT's connector settings. This is what lets AI shopping assistants find your products, check stock and, if you've allowed ordering, send shoppers a payment link.

Common questions

Is there a free alternative?

Yes, and you should know about it. WooCommerce has its own MCP built in, but it is for managing your store (editing products and orders), not for shoppers buying. There is also a free plugin on WordPress.org that implements Google's UCP and OpenAI's ACP protocols. Those protocols are worth having, but selling inside ChatGPT needs OpenAI merchant approval and Google's AI surfaces need Merchant Center. Agent-Ready Shop works today with any assistant that supports MCP connectors, with any payment gateway, in any country, and comes with support.

Which AI assistants can use it?

Any assistant that lets you add a custom MCP connector, such as Claude, ChatGPT (developer connectors), Grok and Cursor. Which assistants shoppers use, and whether they let shoppers add connectors, is up to each AI company.

Does it work with my payment gateway?

Yes, if WooCommerce can take a payment with it. The plugin creates a normal WooCommerce order and gives the shopper your store's own "pay for order" link. We tested it with WooCommerce Stripe Gateway in test mode: a test card payment took the order to Processing.

Will it slow down or break my store?

It doesn't change your theme, checkout or other plugins, and it only runs when an assistant calls it. We tested it alongside Yoast SEO, WooCommerce Stripe Gateway and LiteSpeed Cache with no PHP errors.

Is it the same as Stripe's Agentic Commerce Suite?

No. Stripe's suite is a separate program, rolling out to US businesses first, that lets some AI agents check out natively. If you are eligible, use it too. Agent-Ready Shop doesn't need Stripe and doesn't depend on that program.

How do I cancel?

Online, any time, at our billing page (billing.stripe.com, sign in with the email you paid with), or by emailing us. No exit fees, and if a renewal catches you out we refund it within 14 days.

What happens if I stop paying?

The plugin keeps working. You stop getting updates and support. You can uninstall at any time and it removes its own settings. Your orders stay in WooCommerce.

Do you see my customers' data?

No. Everything runs on your own site. The only thing your site sends us is your licence key and site address, to check for updates.
